What is crossfit?

CrossFit is a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit can be used to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance.  

The program works for everyone – people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years.

why is crossfit so effective?


The magic is in the movements. Constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement workouts are different every day and modified to help each athlete achieve his or her goals.

CrossFit workouts can be adapted for people at any age and level of fitness.


The sense of community at CrossFit is unique; everyone knows one another, there is always someone to help with technique.  This doesn’t happen in regular gyms, no one speaks to one another except to occasional ask “are you using this?”

At CrossFit New West you are always training with a professional coach and friends.

How do i get started?


Our initial consultation and a complimentary training session are designed to introduce you to CrossFit methodology and movements in a stress-free coach-led class.  

All fitness levels will thrive and progress in our gym.


If you’ve been a member at another gym for over 3 months and are proficient in the skilled movements typically encountered in a CrossFit class then you are welcome to join any of our classes. 

Join us for a complimentary drop-in for a trial session.
